Miharo (Wonder)
Ngā Whetu - Stars are a beacon of hope–a shining light that guides the way. It's a symbol of wonderment, positivity, happiness and renewal.

Rapu (Seek)

Karu - the eye is used to depict ones ability to communicate, to look beyond and to explore. In the Maori culture the eye can represent Matakite, the spiritual eye.

Tirohia (Discover)

Te Manu - head of the bird. Birds were closely observed, and were a rich source of discovery. The manu’s behaviour was used to predict the weather, and sometimes future events.

Tohatoha (Share)

Koru spiral shape based on the appearance of a new unfurling silver fern frond. It symbolises new life, growth, and sharing of knowledge.

Whakaata (Reflect)
The two Koru coming together shows their lives coming together in love, friendship and harmony. It has the circle coming around the outside which symbolises reflection and that of a new life, and new beginnings
