Waimauku School is delighted to accept student enrolments of Year 0 to Year 8 students based on the following criteria;

• The student ordinarily resides in our enrolment zone at the time of their entry to our school. CLICK HERE to see enrolment zone

• The student has reached their fifth birthday

• The student is entitled to receive free state education in New Zealand (by way of NZ or Australian citizenship, permanent NZ residency or a valid NZ student visa)

Before your child’s enrolment is completed we will need to sight the following original documents;

• An original birth certificate or passport

• For non-NZ or Australian citizens, proof of permanent residency or a valid NZ student visa

• An immunisation certificate (if the student is immunised)

• Proof of your residential address (We require 2 forms of proof, usually a bond lodgement letter or sale and purchase agreement PLUS a recent utility bill). This will be needed when you originally submit enrolment details AND at the time of your child’s entry to our school.

Please note that we will disregard any online enrolments that we receive for children who are less than four years of age.

 

Once your online enrolment has been reviewed we will contact you to arrange an interview time where we can meet with you and your child. Classroom visits will be arranged for new entrant students in advance of their official start date.
