Waimauku School accepts enrolments of Year 0 to Year 8 students based on the following criteria;
The student ordinarily resides in our enrolment zone at the time of their entry to our school
The student has reached their fifth birthday
The student is entitled to receive free state education in New Zealand (by way of NZ or Australian citizenship, permanent NZ residency or a valid NZ student visa)
As part of the enrolment process we will request proof of your residential address, both when you originally submit enrolment details for your child AND at the time of your child’s entry to our school.
(You will need to enter the school number ‘1550’ and your email address)
Before your child’s enrolment is completed we will need to sight the following original documents;
An original birth certificate or passport
For non-NZ or Australian citizens, proof of permanent residency or a valid NZ student visa
An immunisation certificate (if the student is immunised)
Proof of your residential address (utility bill, rental agreement, sale and purchase agreement, etc)
Once you have completed the online enrolment application please get in touch to discuss next steps and if appropriate we will arrange an interview time where we can meet with you and your child. Classroom visits will be arranged for new entrant students in advance of their official start date.
