Our Principal vacancy is now live
The Waimauku School Board is pleased to share that the advertisement for our next Principal is now live in the Education Gazette.
This is an important step in the process of appointing the person who will lead Waimauku School into its next chapter. Thank you again to the students, whānau, and staff who contributed to the recent consultation. Your perspectives have helped shape both the advertisement and the information being provided to prospective applicants.
We are looking for a Principal who will take the time to understand what makes Waimauku special, build strong and trusted relationships across our community, and provide the educational, strategic and organisational leadership needed for the future.

KAPA HAKA
Our kapa haka rōpu do a great job of representing our kura. We have termly pōwhiri to welcome new whānau to our school, and we perform at school assemblies and other special occasions/events within the community. Each year we participate in the Kaipara Kapa Haka Festival. Kapa Haka practices are every Monday afternoon, and we average around 170 tamariki from Years 3-8 at each rehearsal.
We would like to extend a huge thanks to Pub Charity who helped our rōpu get new kākahu in 2024.
